A young musician in the making, Joel enjoys having learnt the piano, and plays it with passion and excitement. He has performed in many other smaller concerts and gatherings in the passed recent years. A secondary four student in Catholic High School, one of the top secondary schools in Singapore, Joel takes music as one of his ‘O’-Level subjects.
Joel currently holds a Grade 8 ABRSM in piano, and is pursuing his diploma this year. He also plays the cornet in the school’s symphonic band, and has participated in many performances, ranging from school concerts to annual band concerts at the Victoria Concert Hall and the Esplanade. Together with the band, he has taken part in competitions both locally (like the SYF) and overseas, like the World Music Contest held in Holland.

At last, after much of a waiting, after much of anticipation, after much of a glimmer of hope, my blog has finally revived! (So called)
All the ranting about updating my blog, I’ll diligently post one now.
Today in CIP day, the non-official one, cause it was the first time for me to participate in the self-volunteer CIP. Expected, as you had may already read other blogs, it was the CIP at AMK library as a volunteer helping out to shelve books. At first, it may seem all so exciting, to sort out the books according to the numbers and alphabets, to arrange them to the shelves neatly in order, to place the books in increasing number. However, after some time, it gets so routine, doing the same thing over and over again. Expected, we slack quite a little. It’s the 4 same boring people that I went with, except there is no Dong ZhenSheng as he is still on holiday, and today is the day that he comes back from the trip to Malaysia. Anyway, I would like to say thanks to Woon Ngiap and more thanks to Darryn for asking me to join them, as they were the ones who called me and ask if I were free. I would have wasted another beautiful day slacking at home like a potato couch. And yeah, I certainly had gain experience and deeper knowledge of interacting with the staff members over there. The Chinese staff which I do not know her name, was exceptionally naggy.
